Having looked over the whole situation, I’ve now come to the conclusion they won’t ever completely delete my account because it would diminish their user statistics.
By all means give it a go with yours and let me know what you find …. I’ve also tried it with other browsers which I rarely use and still have the same data account coming up. To fob me off I’m told it’s just my browser cache, but the settings I have would not have this happen. As helpful as the staff were in replying to my request, I find that three weeks on my old account is still there. Three weeks ago I asked for my old account to be deleted as I had started a new one.
